New Director of Corporate Giving Announced

Focus on Non-Profits to help Las Vegas Community

Las Vegas, NV - June 5, 2007:  The Sin City Chamber of Commerce is very pleased to announce that Erika Napoletano of Diamond Bay Investments, 2006 Sin City Business Award Winner (Social Activism Award) and SCCC Advisory Council Vice-Chairperson, has accepted the newly created role of Director of Corporate Giving. 

This volunteer position has been created by the Sin City Chamber Executive Staff in hopes of increasing the awareness of our non-profits and their needs.  Erika will help coordinate future special events with the chosen non-profits and develop plans to help them maximize their fundraising efforts at SCCC events.

"We are very honored that Erika has accepted this new position to help our Non-Profit Members" commented Michael Russell, Executive Vice President.  "Erika is one of the most well respected and well liked individuals in the Chamber.  From the start of her Membership, she made it clear that working with the SCCC Non-Profits would be a high priority.  Erika is a great asset to the Las Vegas Community and has volunteered at many SCCC Special events.  She has never requested recognition or additional benefit from the SCCC and has always been a wonderful supporter of the entire Membership."

Over the last three years, the SCCC(founded in 2004) has focused its attention on delivering exciting events to our guests and have often asked Non-Profits to join us in order to help them raise funds.  We have asked Erika to use her creative fund raising abilities to help our Non-Profits reach a new level of awareness within the Chamber and at our Special Events. 

“My plan is to utilize the strengths of the SCCC to help our Non-Profit Members raise more funds and do more for the Las Vegas Community.  The SCCC cares about the community and I want to insure that our membership has an opportunity to make the greatest impact.  I intend to work with the diverse SCCC Membership, the Advisory Council and Sin City Technology Alliance to help our Non-Profits and the local community become an even better place to live” commented Erika Napoletano.
